[스크랩] 하나님과의 인터뷰

 

I dreamed I had an INTERVIEW WITH GOD. 하나님과 인터뷰 하는 꿈을 꾸었다.

"So you would like to interview me?" GOD asked.  "나와 인터뷰 하기를 원한다고?" 하나님이 물으셨다.

"If you have the time," I said."  "시간이 있으시면요" 대답했다.

GOD smiled.   하나님께서는 미소를 지으시며 말씀 하셨다.

 "My time is eternity...   What questions do you have in mind for me?"   "나의 시간은 영원하다.  무슨 질문을 하고 싶으냐?"

"What surprises you most about humankind?"  "인간의 어느점이 하나님을 가장 놀라게 합니까?"

GOD answered.   대답하셨다.

"That they get bored with childhood, they rush to grow up,  and then long to be children again."

   "젊은 시절 지루해 하며 빨리 자라기를 바라다가 다시 어린시절로 돌아가기를 염원하는 것에"

"That they lose thier health to make money... and then lose their money to restore their health."

   "돈을 벌기위해 건강을 잃고, 건강해지기 위해 다시 돈을 잃는 것에"

"That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live in neither the present nor the future."

   "미래에 대해 지나치게 생각 하다 현재를 잊고 결국 현재에도 미래에도 살지를 못할�에."
"That they live as if they will never die, and die as though they had never lived."

   "결코 죽지 않을 것처럼 살다가 살지 않았던 듯 죽을 때에."
GOD's hand took mine and we were silent for awhile.  하나님은 나의 손을 잡고 우리는 잠시 조용히 있었다.

And then I asked. 그리고 나는 물었다.

"As a parent, what are some of life's lessons you want your children to learn?"

   "아버지로써 당신 자녀에게 주고자 하는 인생의 교훈이 무엇입니까?"

"To learn they cannot make anyone love them.   All they can do is let themselves be loved."

   "아무도 자신을 다른 사람이 사랑하게 만들 수는 없다는 것을.단지 할 수 있는 일은 스스로를 사랑받게 만드는 것이라는 것을 알기를 ."
"To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others." "자신을 타인과 비교하는 것은 좋은 일이 아니라는 것을 알기를."
"To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness."  "용서하는 것을 연습함으로 용서하는 법을 배울 것을."

"To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wouds in those they love, and it can take many years to heal them."

   "사랑하는 사람들에게 깊은 상처를 주는 것은 단지 몇초가 걸리지만 그 상처를 치유하기에는 수년이 걸린다는 것을 알기를."
"To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs to least."

   "부자는 가장 많은 것을 소유한자가 아니고 가장 적게 필요한 자라는 걸 알기를."
"To learn that there are people who love them dearly, but simply do not yet know how to express or show their feelings."

   "깊히 사랑하는 사람들이 있어도 사랑의 감정을 아직 표현할 줄을 모른다는 것을 깨닫기를."
"To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it differently."  "두사람이 같은 걸 보고 다르게 느낄 수 있다는 것을."

"To learn that it is not enough that they forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves."

   "서로 남을 용서하는 것으로 충분 한 것이 아니고 본인 스스로도 용서해야 한다는 것을."

"Thank you for your time." I said humbly. "감사합니다." 나는 겸손히 말했다.

"Is there anything else you'd like your children to know?"  "당신의 자녀들에게 하고 싶으 신 다른 말이 있으십니까?"
GOD smiled and said... 하나님은 미소를 띄우시고 말씀 하셨다.

"Just know that I am here." "다만 내가 여기 있다는 것을 알기를 바란다."
"Always." "언제나."
